Debt Elimination  •  Debt Consolidation  •  Debt Settlement  •  Debt Negotiation  •  Bankruptcy •  Counseling

Did You Know Credit Card Companies . . .
•  Earn over 30 BILLION dollars a year in profit.
•  Have essentially no laws controlling interest rates they can charge us.
•  Consider bankrupt people their "bread and butter".
•  Refer to people who pay off their full balance monthly as "dead beats".

Would you consider it OK to take an elderly couple's entire retirement savings, just because it was "written in the contract" you got them to sign?   Did you answer . . . "That's not ethical!"? Then you should read the rest of this page now.
Just Say No!

Bad Form

Just say no to useless silly little forms.  Does Victim of Debt have a form, you ask?  Of course we do, but only asking a few questions is a scam.  Read more at right to get a better understanding . . .

Why Victim of Debt

Victim of Debt is here to connect you with debt reduction specialist, we call them "Independent Debt Consultants".  We do not sell a debt relief service of any kind or charge you for anything.  Obviously, our other primiary mission is to educate you on the different forms of debt relief, as there are many.  Whether it's "Debt Reduction", "Debt Elimination", "Credit Counseling", "Debt Consolidation" or even Bankruptcy, it can be very confusing and we sincerely hope by reading this site you gain a better understanding of your options.

Just Say No

Just say NO! to the these silly forms you see all over the internet (wonderful example of one of these in the left margin).  These are absolutely ridiculous and usually only serve you in one of two ways.  First, some companies are "lead generation" sites.  We too are a lead generation site; however we'll explain why we are SO MUCH different in the section below.  So a lead generation site typically collects your information, then someone who sells a certain form of debt relief will order a bunch of leads, let's say they order 25 leads.  They get those leads in something like an Excel spreadsheet via email from the lead generation site.  Then they proceed to go down the list, calling each lead, attempting to "Sell" their service to that lead (person).  There is a serious problem with this, because what you want to accomplish with your debt reduction/elimination, may not fit the type of service they offer.  When this happens, they don't make a sale and you literally get thrown away.  They called, you didn't need what they were selling, they're done with you, end of story.

We here at Victim of Debt think this is appalling.  If this happens to you, you've just become another victim, one of somebody else's self interest and lack of caring.

We said above there are usually two ways these useless forms are used.  The second scenario is very similar to the first.  A company that actually sells a type of debt relief service collects names and their company, internally, does the same thing that happens in scenario one.  The company calls you, they try to sell you their method of debt reduction, it’s not what suits your needs best, so they’re done, you’re discarded again.

Additionally, you are about to make one of the most important decisions of your life and answering 5 or 6 questions is sufficient?  These other companies are almost insulting by making it seem as if it's as easy as that.  They just want to capture your information and sell you off; not good - not ethical.

What Makes Us Different

We are unique at Victim of Debt.  We founded this company because we feel like the public really needs to be educated about debt first and foremost.  We want you educated about the different types of eliminating or reducing debt, so you understand what options you have, prior to filling out any forms.  Obviously the point of having a Debt Consultants is so they can explain the details.  So what we do is try to give you a general understanding about the basics of debt reduction and debt elimination.  Do we make money, yes, absolutely (we told you on the front page we were honest!).  We make money when someone in our pool of debt specialists (Independent Debt Consultants) selects you.  How is the different you ask?  Well, we actually vet our Independent Debt Consultants before they are allowed to receive people as a potential client, who sign up through Victim of Debt.  Also, they are required to agree that if they are unable to help you, they will notify us so that we may give another Independent Debt Consultant an opportunity to help you.  This way you don’t get "thrown away", like we discussed above.  When they call you and if they are unable to help you, they are required to put you back "into circulation", so another Independent Debt Consultant can contact you in an effort to see if their services fit your needs.

Now, if after attempts by three Independent Debt Consultants no one is able to help you, we are going to call you personally, us, Victim of Debt.  We are going to ask you some questions and try to find out why no one is able to help you.  It may be that you just aren’t ready.  If so, that’s your choice; however, we want to ensure we’ve tried every way within our means to get you moving down the road to debt recovery, and to ensure you’re not "thrown away," like the other companies do.

We hope this sheds some light on things.  If you’d like to speak with us further, really the best way is to Complete the Form.  We contact every person who fills out our form first, prior to releasing them to be selected by Independent Debt Consultants.  During this call you can ask us your questions.  You may also go to the "Contact Us" menu to get in touch with us.
